Having handled hundreds of criminal matters, tried over 50 civil and criminal cases to judge and jury, handled countless civil and criminal appeals, and worked as counsel to firms in the oil and gas industry, Scott understands how to advocate and represent his clients in all phases of business and litigation. But Scott also understands that the law and legal disputes don’t happen in a vacuum. Often personal and business issues can intersect with cases to complicate an already challenging environment.
Scott was selected by his peers as a Top Attorney in Fort Worth, Texas from 2015 to present. He is also a member of the College of the State Bar of Texas, an honorary society of lawyers who are among the best trained attorneys in Texas. Scott earned his law degree from Texas Wesleyan School of Law (now Texas A&M School of Law).
Before law school, Scott worked for 15 years in the computer industry as an IT consultant where he advised enterprises on how to secure and manage their network assets. During this time he also earned several industry certifications and routinely gave lectures on organizationl security.
